Yes. Free codes need no account, carry no watermark and never expire. You can make as many as you like. We make money from changeable codes, not from your free ones.
A code that points to a short link we look after. You can edit the destination whenever you like and see how many people scanned, without reprinting. A free code stores your link inside the pattern, so it can never be edited, but it also can never expire.
We're planning around $7 a month for the Starter plan and $19 a month for Business, with a 30-day free trial and no card needed. Those numbers may change before launch, and we'll say so clearly.
Your printed code doesn't die. For two weeks, people who scan see a short, friendly notice with a link to continue to your site. After that the code is paused, and we hold it for 90 days so that upgrading brings back the same code with the same link.
It depends on how much is inside the code. The generator shows the smallest size that scans reliably for yours, and warns you if your colors are too faint to read.
Not for free codes. They are drawn in your own browser, so your links, Wi-Fi password and logo stay on your device. A changeable code will have to store its destination with us so that it can be edited later.
